Undoubtedly Virtual Reality has attracted a lot of interest of people in last few years. VR offers  great benefits in many application areas like military,healthcare,education,media,film,telecommunication..etc.
Psychologists and other medical professionals are using Virtual Reality to improve traditional therapy methods and find effective solutions for treatments of PTSD, anxiety and social disorders. In business, a variety of industries are benefiting from Virtual Reality. Carmakers are creating safer vehicles, architects are constructing stronger buildings and  travel agencies are using it to simplify vacation planning. There are many uses of VR than first realised which range from academic research through to engineering, design, business, the arts and entertainment. In Film industry , films produced for VR permit the audience to view a 360 degree environment in every scene. Production companies utilize VR cameras to produce films and series that are interactive in Virtual Reality.

In healthcare, Surgery training can be done via virtual reality. To allow this, 360° video is recorded during operations and the data obtained which  can  be shared online. In Space training NASA has used VR technology for twenty years. The  applications of Virtual Reality simulations include exposure to zero-gravity work environments and training on how to spacewalk.
